My Big Fun Walk 2021

Story

We are going to be taking part in the Big Fun Walk - and will walk 8.5 miles to help spread awareness and raise funds for North London Hospice. Our lovely Dad was cared for at the hospice during his last few days with us.

We will start and finish the walk at his favourite bench at Forty Hall. We would regularly take Dad there for a little walk.

Every year, North London Hospice has hundreds of supporters take part in their famous Big Fun Walk. All these supporters raise a vital amount, which goes on to help the Hospice's care teams to provide the best quality palliative and end of life care and support for patients and families living with a life limiting illness. Last year, My BFW raised over £84,000. However, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the original event has been reimagined again to try and decrease the gap in funding. To show our support, myself and many other supporters will be taking on our own routes to help continue raising funds for our local Hospice! I would be so grateful for donations of any amount, which can go towards this incredible cause that is very close to my heart. Thank you so much in advance
